- Iron and Manganese Removal – This one-day course is designed to introduce the methods of identifying and controlling iron and manganese problems in drinking water. Some areas that will be covered are: filtration, common treatment methods, alternate technologies, common pre-treatment methods, chemistry of iron and manganese removal and the effects of iron and manganese in portable water systems.

- Cross Connection and Backflow Prevention – This one-day course is designed to a target audience of Water Operators, Supervisors, Foremen & Water Meter personnel. Participants of this course will gain an understanding of the importance of a good water supply; they will review the Provincial Codes, legal aspects and CSA standards. Students will also learn and understand why backflow preventors are necessary, how they are applied and why it is important not to allow pollutants into potable water supply system.
- Upon Successful Completion – 0.7 CEU’s will be awarded.
